Recently, Mr. Zhang Mengran, Vice President of Operation of Golen Power was invited to attend the Jiangsu-Brazil symposium and exchange event, and he had an in-depth communication with a delegation led by Valdes Goes, Brazil's Minister of Regional Integration and Development, officially launching a strategic layout to enter the Brazilian clean energy market.

This event focused on key demand area in Brazil. As one of the world's fastest-growing clean energy markets, Brazil's energy storage sector is experiencing explosive growth. According to data from Brazil's national electricity system operator, the ratio of photovoltaic power generation is projected to increase from 22.2% in 2024 to 32.9% in 2029, with a net increase of 36.5 GW in installed capacity. This high penetration of solar power is driving a strong demand for energy storage. The Brazilian Energy Storage Association predicts that this sector will attract 44 billion reais (approximately US$8.46 billion) in investment by 2030, covering off-grid systems, grid-scale projects, commercial and industrial scenarios. Although policy details are still being finalized, demand for battery storage components in Brazil has already surged by 89% in 2024. With some areas experiencing annual power outages exceeding 190 hours, the need for energy storage in households and agriculture is particularly pressing.

Leveraging its technological expertise in solar energy and energy storage, Golen Power plans to enter the Brazilian market with integrated microgrid system solutions as its core products. Zhang Mengran stated during the discussion that the company will focus on residential energy storage systems, agricultural photovoltaic energy storage projects, and off-grid microgrid system solutions to meet the energy transition needs of the Brazilian Amazon region. Golen Power will collaborate with local partners to promote technology localization, closely monitor policy developments, and contribute to China-Brazil energy cooperation on the next step.
